What size belt?!?!?

4LB lower, stock upper, and Metco idler pulleys.

Stock is 66", so 68" or 68.5"???

I used a 68" belt, no problems. May have to break the tab off...

There is a little tab on the tensioner that acts as a "stop" when loosening the bar. It is cast, so if you take a screwdriver or chisel and give it a whack it breaks right off to allow the tensioner to push down further. This helps with getting belts on with larger pulleys. I don't have a picture but you'll see when you get into it.
Just put a 1/2" wrench in the front of the tensioner and turn clockwise until it won't move anymore. You'll then see the tab that is stopping it from moving - break that off.
I'm sure if you search you can pull up some more information on the tensioner tab.

thanks guys.. Why don't I just go with a 68.5" belt. Then I won't have to break the tab off, correct?
