When you say you dont believe trucks can run better than 13.20 with chip and filter and i ran that time and could have run better.Thats calling me a liar indirectly.There are many of us who you are calling liar.You said better than 13.2 so,I guess 13.19999 would be a liar too.YOU GET MY POINT!

The only point that I was trying to make was that no matter what anyone does on this subject, mad will only post back that we can't prove it to him.
The first time he posted this he received about 130 posts that proved the facts, but he and his calculator did not compute!
I was just trying to turn the table back on him to prove to us that he in fact, turns 11.9. He can't.
In his first post he responded with a comment after every 3-4 posts. Now in his second post, I don't even think he reponded back at all, he knows that he can't respond back in any other manner than we did. This was to be a suttle message to mad, and him only.
BTW I nerver call you a liar, you implied this on your own. But if you want to get pissed off then you should dirrect your opinions towards mad, didn't he call all of us liars?

You will not meet a nicer and more truthful person than A-Lightning. He was there when I ran both cars in the 11's. The other car on his timeslip is ME. I had a witness and a credible one at that.
I went to the track Friday night and was told to report back what the Lightning's ran. That's what I did. I also stated that it was unfortunate that some of the L's that said they were coming didn't show up so we only had two L's. The stock L ran several runs with a best of 14.0. Like Wes stated, the weather had alot to do with it.
I understand that Lightningquick is the local attack dog and has quite a interesting past on F150online. Is this true?

So...what you're saying is that YOUR witness is a nice truthful guy, and you've posted a timeslip...therefore, we should all believe your "proof", yet the witnesses, and timeslips showing 13.2 Lightning runs are either not nice and truthful witnesses, or the timeslips are doctored? I dont completely understand. Why is YOUR witness and timeslip enough proof, but everyone else's not good enough? Help me understand this, Mad.

#1 Don't be a hater.. If someones truck is running faster than yours with less work.. just deal with it..
#2 Do you really think all the trucks run the same from the factory ? ( Look at the 99 Cobra )

Well at FFW in Baytown I ran 13.4's @ 102 all weekend long in the horrible air. My previous best back in Feb. was a 13.16 @103.8. As anyone who was in Baytown that weekend will tell you the weather was bad...really bad (my skin is still recovering from the burns 
).

Prom - 80mm MAF
Bassani exhaust
stock gears, stock tires, no lightening of any sort (4813lbs @ hrp)
378.2 rwhp 442rwtq.

It sure was, Mike! Is your truck red? If so, I saw you run at least once. The truck ran great for the crappy air we had. As I posted either on this subject or the "other" one regarding this same subject

Well I am one of the L's that didnt show up at the track for MAD to watch or make judgement upon. My appologies since I had to work and couldnt get off. I do know A-Lightning and the other driver that was there at the track on Friday. Both are upstanding gentlemen and I have also witnessed both them run. I personally dont know MAD personally and could care less if I do. All I can say his he is entitled to his opionion as is everyone here, I know what I have seen and believe it as the truth.
The point here is that we are driving enthusiasts of a rather unique vehicle. Some of us have also been lucky enough to have these vehicles run faster than normal and faster than others exactly like them. THATS A FACT OF LIFE!!! Except it and move on. We are adults here. Yeah there are going to be those who doctor times or leave out all there mods. SO WHAT!! If you race him and he/she beats you then they beat you. If it is for money or some competition then I can see a placement for anger. But this is a computer screen and some keyboard that we communicate upon to again enjoy this unique vehicle and help each other out. This is not a contest to see who is better than who.
Lets all grow up a little bit and realize that some do things that others cant and except it as so and be hapy for them. And if it comes down to the simple fact they have lied of fudged numbers, then they shall meet their demise in some other means, thats what fate is all about.
My $1.50 worth on this again.

no Wes my truck is black and I was running in the Mod Motor class unlike most other lightnings. I found out real quick I did not care for the mod class at all...the whole thing of them choosing your dial-in just bit. That and I did not understand what it truely meant to deep stage and the effects on your racing. Oh well live and learn.
p.s. did you notice that the winner of s/o and runner up ran faster than the winner/runner up of Pro 5.0! WOW! After seeing the times they were posting and the extensive mods I decided to change classes. Originally I was to run s/o with my 92gt by early next season or late this season. However, know I have decided to pounce on s/b class as my car is already pretty much overkill for it so I should do half way decent.
Who knows.....

All the fast Pro 5.0 cars were up in Columbus, OH running in the NMRA event.
S/O has gotten incredibly fast...so has S/R. 6 years ago when I was running mid-11s with a blown 302, I was in Outlaw. What a joke my car would be in that class now...but mine's still driven to the track and back.
Oh well. It's very hard to build a car to fit in those classes b/c the rules change every darn year.
