I would be really upset if my car were abused like that at the dealership. I always check the mileage, but it's hard to know if that 1.2 miles they do when you take it in are abusive or not. If I were you, 93 Cobra, I would demand a new truck, threaten legal action, and threaten to publicize their behavior with the local tv news or newspapers. Everyone knows this would be bad for business, so teach them a lesson by threatening them- don't be immature about it. Don't let your age be a negative factor- I'm only 16, but I get what I want. Make them take you seriously, and they will. At least have them detail your truck, change the oil and fluids, give you new tires all around and perhaps new rear wheels. Seems like a lot, but it's much cheaper for them than giving you a new truck. Good luck and please let us know what happens.

i have an appointment with the service manager this evening for him to check my tires. i know that they are going to say that no damage was done and for me to leave. if they do give me a hard time about new tires, which i feel i am entitled to, what should i do? i will probably call SVT directly if they give me any problems. thanks everyone for all of your help and making me feel at home.

I would follow the chain like was mentioned above. Go to the dealer manager or owner and keep going up!

Hey 93, don't waist you time with SVT, they have no authority, they aren't even Ford employees. SVT is a marketing arm of Ford that's been outsourced to a vendor.

Call the regional Ford office (the number is in your manual). There are laws in place that will kick in once you make this call so you will be covered from the start.

Good luck
