Truck making noise??

Noticed it today really bad, only a little bit on other days.

If i cut the wheel all the way and im either going in reverse or turning, i hear a loud Slap, almost like metal on metal. Or maybe it even sounds like a Pop noise.

Tire rod maybe??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

-Sean

It's the infamous "CLUNK"

do a search for clunk washers and you'll find all your answers.

Sometimes this noise is caused by lack of grease on steering stop.

Install 'clunk' washers on your left side lower rear control arm bushing and keep your steering stops greased.
