I guess the short answer is 25K in motors happen and I expect good results after burrying myself in hock over it. Then on top of that I spent A LOT of money setting up for this pass, alot of time went into it, alot of people reached out and helped, more prep work than ever was done, and we truly had THEE PERFECT DAY to go for it, and as far as I knew I also had what it took to go for it. It didnt happen and obvioulsy that means I dont have what it takes. :o
That my friend is totally un-acceptable in my book, thats all I'm willing to speak of it....

If I had what I was told I had yes I would be chasin the 10's,
however after making some passes under the most perfect condtions there could possibaly be, it is extremely clear thats not the case. As a result I feel I was played and made to look like a complete f ucking *******.
For this moment the Truck's up for Sale, if I can figure a way to get the power I paid for without spending more money, maybe things will change,
if not the L's gone and for now on in "I make the rules"

Rob, Just my opinion, but before the "For Sale" sign hits the windshield make sure all options are exhausted particularly the tune, I don't know the details but personally thats where I would start, just make sure everything is right before unloading the truck. In any case good luck, Todd

Come on Rob, spill the bean's!! It couldn't be that bad, you didn't blow up?? I'm sure the tune can be corrected.

No no no please make no mistakes everyone
My Motor runs flawless, hats off to Jim and JDM

Thats the problem, it was set up for "The Kill", it ran flawless, it hooked, it was prepped better than it can ever be again, hundreds of lbs were removed, it was flat beded, locked and loaded, and the conditions could not be better.
Then after racing I simply changed tires and sat in 3 hours of complete stop and go traffic on the way home, make no mistakes this motor is absolutely awesome.

THATS THE PROBLEM, it's perfect but obviously not anywhere near the power I was told it had. The anger I'm feeling is 100% motivated from that, I was made the fool and it was done in front of the entire Lightning world. (insert head up my a$$ here)

I love Jim and JDM, been treated like family since I met them back in 2002, this is NOT about JDM or my motor, this is about me bragging about all this power I DONT HAVE, and yes of course I taked to him, 2 seconds after the run amof, of course he NOW tells me I dont have the "kill tune", I just cant but wonder why I had to find out NOW (months later and after spending 700.00 on this)

Now remember I had HUNDREDS of lbs taken out of it THAT I NEVER DID BEFORE. So if I ran it like I have the past 4 years, I would prob run 12.0, maybe 11.9. Jesus H Easter Bunny I've been doing better than that for the last 4 years, and 2 of them were on a stock block eaton and 501 HP.

They run better with the weight on them. Haven't I taught you guys ANYTHING>???
Talk to JDM, get a dyno-tune Rob. EVERYONE that gets a new motor leaves on a mild tune. -Mat-

I don't understand...there was obviously a brake down in communication somewhere. Jim dyno tuned it at 600hp right? Is that not the tune you left with? I would have it dyno'd with the tune you ran it on and see what it puts out. I know my new motor is on a soft break in tune, and was told to come back after some miles for a stronger tune. Did you do a break in tune, and then dyno 600? Was 600 your break in? Maybe he didnt include the ***** out tune until you had some miles on it so you wouldn't be tempted? He made it very clear to me that I have to be re-tuned after some miles on my truck. I hope things work out for ya bud.
