Nathen:
Like all the others already said you are strong & young, and you must have a good head on your shoulders since you own the best truck in the world.

I found out for a fact that God works in mysterious ways. This is only one test of many that you face in your lifetime. We all know that you will pass this test and the many more that will come your way. My family and I have you in our prayers. The recovery is going to be tough too so say strong and keep the head above water. (We are still waiting for the seqeal, that was one great show. I had to show it to all my frienda at work & neighbors.

Our Prayers,
Terry & Maria

Nathan,

My mom had breast cancer over 7 yrs ago and did went thru chemo treatment. She's doing great today. In fact, she and my dad are moving back to TX from SoCal, after 15 yrs, since my dad just retired. I prayed for her back then, and now my prayers go out to you. Like everyone's pretty much said, stay strong.

BTW, did you ever receive my email? I sent it a while back from nakatag@yahoo.com. I'm no longer in NB. I'm in Round Rock, but I'm going to visit SA on a monthly basis on Saturdays.

George

Nathan, I've visited this site a whole lot of times before I ever started posting here, so I am familiar with you I just wanted to let you know that Mike and I are praying for you and wish you the best. Both of you don't deserve to be put through this kind of physical, emotional, and mental anguish.

All our love,
Mike & Sue

Nathan,

I am so sorry to hear the news. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Like others have written, hang in there and maintain a positive attitude--it will make a difference.

I had a friend back in college that (I believe) had the same form of cancer as you. He was 18 when diagnosed w/it, it was caught early and he made a FULL recovery and was completely cured.

Best of luck to you. Please keep us all updated on your progress.

I have not read any threads of even been online in the past month much. I won't say much, as I'm sure you know what I'm thinking.

I wish you the best Nathan, and will pray. I wish I had more to give, but I just like you am fighting for my life now. I'm 22 & you're 23 so it really sucks, but we have to have faith, and rely on those who care about us. Let others help.

Sorry I don't have more to say, but I'm so sick that it's hard to say a lot of positive things, when the pain can sometimes become so unbearable. Fight! Thats all I can say.

Thumbs up

Nathan,

My father is a 5 year survivor of colon cancer and a 2 year survivor of kidney cancer. He's doing great.

As far as advice goes, others have made good points. Basically, you fight it with all you got and you always keep a Positive Mental Attitude.

A fellow I know has the exact same cancer that you have. The lump grew out practically overnight. They treated it very aggressively. That was over a year ago and he's doing fine.

My personal advice is to learn all you can about this disease. Do not be afraid to ask your personal Dr. or your oncologist dumb questions. If you think of something, write it down and take it with you to ask the doctors. At this stage, don't trust your memory, so write your questions down beforehand. Take somebody you trust to the appointments. Sometimes, they'll ask a question you didn't think of or they'll hear something that you didn't.

You can beat this!

Nathan, I have a very good landlord buddy that had lymphoma in his early 40's. It too was a very agressive kind. He beat it big time and has been fine for the last 6-7 yrs. As others have mentioned, THINK POSITIVE. You can beat it too.

Nathan,

Best wishes for a quick and full recovery. I echo the other members sentiments that you will easily be able to whip this thing.

My prayers are with you.

Nath......

As hard as it is to do, please try and keep positive. My aunt went through something similar a few years back and she came out just fine.

Stay strong and prayers go out to you.

Nathan,
I recently was diaagnosed with Hepatitis C.
This doesn`t help the old liver much. It is a slow progressive thing. I have had a biopsy recently and my doctor recommends interferon injections and oral meds. A blood transfussion I had in the early 70's is believed to be the culprit. Believe I'm going to wait until I spend the summer with My family and try to maintain the energy to get to the Bahamas in September. They say 20-40 years worth of progession worse case...a slow erossion. I can relate somewhat although we all have to deal with lifes problems. I myself am 44 and never considered giving up. My family and friends all are concerned and offer advice and support. If I can help or if you need to talk with someone please let me know. I`ll give you a ring. Some poet once said ...Do not go easy into the dark night....Fight the battle and keep positive.
