Transmission Dragging?

On the way home from the lake Friday seemed like the boat weighed two tons. I had a 25+mph head wind and thought that was the problem. On the way to work this morn. it drove fine for about 2 miles. I left a red light (normal driving) and when my L shifted into second it was like someone put on the brakes. I tow my bassboat alot (40k of 60k miles probably), I have had the tranny flushed on the BG machine twice the last time about 10k miles ago. The filter has NEVER been changed. I checked all the coils but #4, when I got to work and they seem fine. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Dave

I had a similar experieince with an aftermarket valve body - felt like it was lugging the engine and we could see it on the dyno also. Datalogging showed the line pressures staying high for a duration after the shift, indicating a possible sticking valve in the VB - swapped out the VB and problem went away.
