I've followed all the JJ online crap since i've been on the lightning message boards. I've bought several things from JJ, been to his house, and asked him for advice many times. On a personal level, you won't find a nicer person. Especially at the track, if there's something he can do to help you, he'll be right there. So maybe he had his internet issues, but I will tell you on a personal level he's a great guy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy an engine from him.

What is your beef with JJ huh? You and that other dude are on here flaming JJ and you haven't given any legit reasons as to why you don't like him. Maybe there was some post a while ago where he was argueing with some people, but that's no reason to try and hurt the guys business. Can't we just squash the beef and keep the negative comments to ourselves... The thread starter wanted to know about his long/short blocks, not your personal feelings about one of the best customer servers in the Lightning community...

I would like to know the same thing?? Everytime I've met JJ he's been a very personable person!
The last thread I read on here, involving JJ, was JDM wanting to slam him into the wall at the track. The thread is long gone, atleast I can't find it!
Best to all!!!
Bryan

Well he spread rumors that the built motor I paid a lot of money for didn't have Manley H beam connectiong rods in it. Those rumors upset me, and caused me a few sleepless nights. I had to pay someone to drain the oil out of the pan and scope my bottom end. It cost me 100 bucks plus 5 quarts of oil to find out I did indeed have H beam connecting rods.

And I personally saw Dons rod....I mean rods! Definitly had the correct rods.

As for JJ. He has been nice as hell to me everytime I met him. Seems like a good guy in person. He was involved in a lot of slander and internet bs. I think his engines are probably fine, but as far as I know he is just slinging parts from JLP. For that reason alone, I wouldn't buy anything from him. Maybe he can chime in and give us some details...if he's still allowed here. If he's not allowed here or is not an SV, this post should be removed.
