Cool Radio Control Lightning

For those of you who missed it on the general board, Model Expo is having a sale on a radio controlled L. Have a look:

'99 F150 SC, 4x2, Oxford white, flareside, 5.4, 3.55 rearend,
bodyside mouldings, Snugtop hard tonneau, K&N dropin and airbox mod.
Duraliner drop-in (gave up on the Penda Nascar). Gibson Supertruck. Ford 2-piece bra. Catch-All floor mats.
No door cracks yet at 6K!!!

Future mods: 2/4 lowering, and some Roush stuff.

Just got back from Hawaii where I was visiting my son, who gave me a Tamiya R/C Lightning model which he detailed in silver exactly like my truck. He had another one which he had painted white to resemble the Ranger I just bought him. I didn't tell him but I thought it was a waste of money UNTIL we took them to a nearby empty parking lot and raced them. It was a gas. Probably the most fun I had on the whole trip. Took me a while to get the hang of it, so both trucks have a few souvenirs from close encounters of the curb kind, but, what the hey, that's racing. Too bad we only get to do it once a year.
