Hello to all, I am new to the board and this is my first posting. I have been doing a lot of reading on belts, pulleys, etc and have been trying to put together the right combo for me. I am looking to run a #6 lower and either a 2.70 or a 2.80 upper with a different belt. I just purchased a Metco 100mm Idler pulley set up.

My two questions are:

1) What pulley size can I run with the 100mm Idler pulley?

2) What size belt will I need if I can run the above listed sizes with the 100mm idler pulley?

I have a bone stock 2001 Lightning with 23k on it that is an absolute cream puff. My first one so I want to do it right.

1). The upper pulley you have now (2.8) is fine with a 100MM. I think the biggest you can go with a 100MM is 3".

2) I would try a 68" belt from NAPA. It should fit fine. If it doesn't, NAPA will trade it out for you.

Make sure you get a good tune when your done installing that stuff.
