Harley Door Handles $$$$$

Wow. Mine are flaking off and cutting up my hand, so I decided to go the HD route since they are chrome. Well, you can't just buy the handles anymore and the price has more than doubled. $203 for both, since you must buy the whole latch kit. Talked to a guy at fordpartsonline and although he was very nice, there was no deal, even after mentioning this web site.

Hopefully should have them in a week or so.

the HD chrome versions are also just a sticker/wrap like the 03/04 Lightning.

Are you sure? I was thinking about doing the same thing on my 03L, as the drivers side is starting to get a little sharp.

Mine is a very early 03 and it has one black and one chrome.
I wanted to change it but I left it alone because I didnt want the panel to be loose and rattle.
It makes a good conversation piece.

Ah don't worry about that. I've had my door panel off too many times to remember and there is no rattles. Now as for the sliding glass latch. If I could only stop that thing from ticking.
