Also had 2/2 chamber Flows on my '99 and gonna do the same to this one on Friday. Nice rumble. Definately sounds better than that stock Escort muffler.

Yes I have two Borla polished stainless steel mufflers on my "L". They have been on since June of last year (you can view them at Zing.com. Turned off OBDII and removed the Cats today, did some tricks in the exhaust system too. The "Docker Dyno" says two thumbs up. My friend "Hot Rod Six" told me that I really put the BAD A$$ in BABolt, that the sound is down right mean ( not loud either). Hey! How about 1.75 dia. long tube headers. There in the works, just a few weeks away. Exhaust system sound file avail. this is twin Borla's with cats in place.

Just curious about the two muffler setup's. Has anyone run a before and after dyno test to see if a horsepower gain went along with the nicer exhaust sound?

 

i have 2 flowmaster 70 series mufflers and no cats.sounds alot better,not too loud,and had a definate seat of the pants differance,especialy at the top end.

 

Hey BABOLT: Would you happen to know the part numbers for the borlas? I'm leaning that way more myself - don't want it too loud. Also, what about the pipes downstream? What sort of tips did you go with?

You can check out the photos at the Zing photo site and you can get there real fast from my web site. I will get the part number for the Borla's. Again these were a polished stainless steel muffler. They should also be available in a non-polished finish.

I am looking for a better sound from my 00-L.

Muffler shop owner said he can put two stainless steel Walker "Turbo" mufflers on her by turning them on their side. He has them on his street rod and they sound great.
He can install them for $225.

Has anyone else put two 1-in 1-out mufflers on?
