Tire Info needed ASAP

Well when i bought my truck it came with 3 stock rims and the spare on it, now that I looked at the tires closer, 2 of them are 295 and one is smaller, 245 i believe. Just needed to know if all 4 rims are the same on a stock L, so if i should order 4 295's or if dif ones are needed for the front. Also, will 305's fit for the rears?

One more quick question.... F1's or the Nitto 555's? only a $13 price difference between each tire. Seeing if anyone had any opinions. Thanks in advance guys

stock is 295's on all four. As far as F1's verses Nitto, good luck on getting a definite answer. I would say they are both good brands, with each having diff strengths and weaknesses. Personally I am on my second set of F1's. I managed 30k on my first set and I do not drive like a grandma or a 16 year old.

30,000 miles?

My last set I had on the rear I got JUST OVER 3,000. (yes 3,000 not 30,000) I was grinning from ear to ear.

Buy the Eagle F1's. I've gone through 3 sets of tires through the time I've owned my 01' Lightning and the first 2 sets I bought F1's. I just purchased Nitto's 555 NT's and the cold traction is bad. Of course I've got 521rwtq. though. What I mean by cold traction is when the weather is cold along with the street your tires are really stiff. You try and take off and your rear end will be everywhere. I never had that problem with F1's though!

well would anyone suggest that i buy 305 nitto drag radials for the rears if this is my daily driver and these tires would be on it until i needed new ones? Also how long do the drag radials last??

and can someone tell me if the 305's will fit our stock rims

ok so by scary you mean bald/no traction. were you beating on them or driving them just on a regular basis?

Because l-menace said he got 3k miles out of his, which im guessing he beat the hell out of them. and you say 7k. the rubber looks to be thicker on the drag radials so i figured they would last longer

The rubber is much softer than the F-1's, I didn't have a durometer to measure how much though. What I mean't by scarier is, when they get low on tread the weather can be hell!!
I did track race a little(quite a few burnout's), but I can't recall many member's getting many more mile's?????
Hope this help's!

Well...that about takes care of BAD weather but, how do they perform in drag racing weather. lol.

P.S. Mine stick pretty good if you leave right, but I only have...

91.oct. 4lb, preditor, K/N, Nitto 555 NT's

Can't tell you how the perform at the strip . Haven't got to test them out yet . But, on the street even when I run from a 15-20 kick just last Saturday it got squirrly. They seem to work great for my little brother though. He's got the Nitto 555 NT's on his TA WS6...and he hooked like a charm. Only mod's he has are some minor bolt on's, pan-hand bar for the rear, exhaust, and 11" wide Torqe Thrust II's in the rear. He leaving on a 6-speed also. Now, I've never claimed to be the best driver in the world, but I can sure as hell out drive my little bro' Even in his own car I run a better 1/8th mile time Maybe your right though, maybe I just haven't had enough time to play with my new setup. Will see this weekend though when I take it to the local drag strip.

If your really concerned about track conditions, get some Nitto 305x45 Drag Radials. Those things hooked pretty good for me.
