Well last night i was at the car wash, washing my baby,And no i didnt wash the motor... when i was leaving it had a bad miss, like the motor was wanting to jump out of the engine bay. well i got it home running like crap, but it was only when i was getting close to boost. well this morning i checked the coil pack wires, injector wireing, even checked for vacume leaks. nothin!!!!?????? well i drove it to work and it drove fine, i even got on it alittle bit and it drove great. well when i was leaving work it started again but worse. I didnt think i was going to make it home so i stopped by my friends house and started checking things. well i noticed that when i unpluged the very back passanger side coil and injector it didnt change. so i pulled the plug and it was beat to crap, the plug was black, the gap on the plug was closed, it looked like someone took a thin straight edge and was beating all around it. so i went to the store and bought a new TR6 and regaped it to 30 and it drove fine again. Now it does not ping has a tune on it and the A/F stays about 11.5 to 12.2, so it's all good. What i think it is, a pieace of piston broke off and was just beaing beat to crap by the piston and the valve's. i dont know it was really weird. what do u all think

Well not to anyones suprise, a piece of piston broke off. I took it all apart last night and barrow a friend of mines's boreascope and looked down the spark plug hole and saw a little sliver missing from the side of the piston. The bad part about it is that i knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I bought my baby from Carmax and they only put 87 fuel in it to let people wanting to buy it drive it. well u know just as well as i do when u test drive a car or truck, u beat the carp out of it. well when i went i hopped on it and it pinged its *** off, pluse the owner befor me didnt take care of it very well. i mean the exterior it clean the interior is very clean, but the motor was nasty dirty. it already had one of thoese mail order superchips in it and had a smaller pulley on the blower. So like i said it was comeing sooner or later. at least i got a 12.50 out of her. The thing is when i bought it i had hopped i cought it just right befor it had started hurting it. The first 2 weeks i had it i added some many mods to and a Bad AZZ tune to go with it, But i guess i didnt catch it soon enough. All well now time for the big boy stuff for her, so that she can really go out and play.
