Could someone explain the lemon law.
My dad has a 99 F-250 Superduty, it has about 50,000 miles on it. There have been a few factory recals on it and it has gone in to have the brakes reworked 5 times now. The last time was 2 weeks ago, and the breaks have again started to act up. It will be going in for the 6th time next week. He just bought a 2000 superduty, and we really don't need the other truck, along with a camaro, and a lincoln continental. What would be covered under the lemon law? What does it entail? Any information, or maybe you could point me in the right direction would be great

Floyd91,
Lemon Laws vary from state to state. My best suggestion is to check out the website for your state Attorney General's office. Most have a FAQ on them that will include info like what you are requesting. Anything I could tell you from here would be pure speculation.
Hope this helps at least a little,

Wyldman is right. You need to get the exact Lemon law for your state. However, I can tell that in my state, Maryland, the Lemon law is very strict about steering and brakes. If I remember correctly, when I bought my Lightning from the Dealer, he gave me a copy of the MD Lemon law.
I did a Lemon Law return on my 1999 Cobra. That's how I got my Lightning. Trust me, it's no easy task. It took a total of 9 months to get it done. My first suggestion is document everything. I started at this web site. Good luck. http://www.carlemon.com/lemonstat.html
