Call your local Ford Parts house and ask them what options you have on a 1999 / 2000 Ford Lightning, they will tell you a 3:55 or a 3:73. I have posted the parts numbers here in the past. Can't find them right now but its a quick fix to a lot of getup and go. Never bought, I say I never bought a hopped up factory car from 1960 till now that did not need I say need a gear change to a lower gear.
Try it, you will love it. gaer cost is about $200.00 bucks installation is about $250.00 done by a professional.
