I just have to ask if anyone here has Danny's new chip. He told me he has burned 5 or 6 already for lightnings. I find his claim of 40 hp to be on the high side and I was wondering if anyone can set this straight.

Getting Slower each day

 

40 HP could be there.

My L makes about 10-15 stock HP more than most persons L's that I've seen 325rwhp and with a custom chip I now make 25rwhp more, to 350rwhp.

It very well could be that all of the stock advanage that I had could be made up with a well programed chip.

Also I never saw 1 hp increase with just a replacement air filter(I have a $350 MAF and K&N air cleaner, that didn't do s%&t, think god I got it for free), but I do hope that Sals unit produce an extra 7 hp like he claims.

 

I'm impressed with Danny Swanson's claim of additional 40hp for the L'. I am more impressed that not only does he answer your e-mails he also answers his telephone and talks to you and he also has a 2000 Lightning.

I went to my bank and got a cashier check yesterday and put in the mail to him. I am real confident when he burns my chip it will be excellent. He has a great test bed a Black 2000 Lightning .

Thanks for posting this info. I have been communicating with Danny by e-mail (he answers, what a concept!) and he claims a gain from 315 rwhp to 358 rwhp with no other mods. Looks like I am going to have to regege on my decision not to get a chip. What the hey, its only money.
