The Ultimate Underhood Bling!

Well, I guess that would be anti-bling.

Stock motor power numbers to follow. Just waiting on the files to be sent.

This blower is insane!

Thanks,

David, at Dynamic Autoworks in Charlotte, did a wonderful job. It looks absolutely like it came from the factory this way. Excellent work! Very clean. I can't recommend him for Lightning work enough. He really knows these trucks.

That's a neat looking install mate.

BLACK is BACK

The pinch roller on the top pulley should ensure some grip at WOT
Who made the extra pinch idler set up ?

I did not realise that until you mentioned it. Is is going to be really difficult to change the plugs on the right.

Go denso and then you won't have to worry!!

Odin, how much boost do you plan on running through her? Stock motor correct? Do you have a list of supporting mods?

I have 60# injectors, 2400 SCT MAF, LT-headers, 6# lower, and the 3.375 pulley that came with the Whipple. Not my only mods; but, thiese are the key ones. We found that I was making more power than I expected and now need to upgrade the pumps, too. We pulled the timing back to 12* and have the fuel down to +/-11.0 most of the way across the graph. At 5200 rpms it's still below 11.6. We couldn't pull enough power out though. 480+ rwhp 600+ ft/lbs is where we ended up. I hit the 500/600 club. First pull was over 490 hp and everyone just about crapped. There's more to tell; but, I need to save it for later.

Thumbs up

OMG those are great stock block #'s... and relatively safe/conservative a/f & timing! When my warranty is up that's my first mod (along with the injectors, pumps and MAF), you've decided it for me... plus it looks great!

Intake temps stayed around 110* with back to back to back to.....etc. pulls. We made 514hp without breaking 14.5* of timing. At 5200 rpms we still hadn't broken 12.0 on the A/F. By 5500 we had though. The pumps were not there anymore. I'm pretty stoked about it.

WOOO-HOOO!

What does that register on the boost gauge? Any suggestions for someone that doesn't want to upgrade MAF, Injectors, Pumps? Whats the psi limit?

Not sure about the boost. According to Whipple, somewhere between 14-16#. If you're thinking about a blower like this one, I wouldn't shirk the MAF, injectors, or the pumps. (I skipped the pumps; but, in retrospect, I shouldn't have.) Tuning will be easier and the peace of mind is worth every penny.
