Question Northern Arizona trip

Ok all, looks like May 6/7 works for all. I now have some questions:

Calling any and all Arizona and out of state Lightning owners, please let me know who plans to attend. I know there are a couple of you in Tucson--please join us.

Let me know preference. 1 day or 2? I really think this should be a 2 day event.

Phoenix boys: How early are you able to meet? I thought we could maybe meet at like Bell Rd and I-17?

Does anyone know how to contact magazines? I've never done that. If nothing else, there must be a number listed somewhere in the magazine. I will be alone, so maybe we could get someone from a mag to ride w/me.

So far I believe it will be:
Yoda
Joelightning
JRW67
ADP
Zonaman
Peter B
and now 2000Trade-in (Silver Lightning)

We need more Lightnings!!! Lets get the number to a minimum of 10!

I think it would be fun but I have finals the following week. Being 22 and barely a sophmore is getting old.

2000Tradein,
Fantastic!! Congrats on your L. Now we will have the missing silver in the convoy! What dealer did you get yours from?
Come join us at Firebird next Friday. If you don't run, atleast show us your new ride.

I'm getting mine from Earnhardts. Finally getting out of that POS '99 Cobra. I'll come out on Friday, but I won't run it. Call me ****, but I want to make sure I have the motor broken in well before I start to wail on it.

Everybody bring their digital cameras! Peter, you should have made your choice by then. Starting to look good. Anybody need a Motel room in Sedona on Sat night? Mail me at adp@ispchannel.com and I'll try to find a good rate. I'll meet you all at I 17 and Bell road. Is 0900 OK? Let's make it happen!

Unless something really bad happens workwise I will be there!

ADP any pointers on the hotel in Sedona will be appreciated...

Wink

bobb,

Great - another Silver!

I'll check into some places and see if I can get a discount. The number of folks staying would help the process.

I'll let you know!

This is looking really good. Looks like my tentative count is 9 Lightnings:
Yoda
Joelightning
JRW67 ?
ADP
Zonaman ?
Peter B
2000Trade-in
yldryd
bobb

Looks like for sure 7, but not sure if JRW67 and Zonaman are in?

ADP,
Hopefully should have a digital camera by then. Tomorrow I'm gonna look at the Coolpix 950 (as the 990 isn't on the shelf yet), but I have to tell you I've read alot of reviews on the Canon S20 and it all looks good. The big thing swaying to it is the pocket size.

2000Trade-in,
Look forward to seeing you on the 21st at Firebird! I can understand not running it yet.

yldryd and bobb,
excellent! Look forward to meeting you both.

Tomorrow I will start laying out the whole route and will post itenary and email to those who requested.

How far up the state does every want to travel? Flagstaff or further up to the Grand Canyon?

I'm gonna lay the route out for a 2 day trip. For those who would only want to make it a day, I think they should join us and they can turn and head back to Phoenix on Saturday.

This is oing to be fun, hittng the Grand Canyon might be outta the way though. Would rather hit the Flagstaff-payson route. Hey 2000trade in, glad you got yours, would be cool if you met us on Fri night. If you have never been to FIrebird, they charge $10 to get in, even if your not racing (hope you still meets us there), but thought you should know that.
