Unhappy Paint finish

Hey guys/gals, got a problem.
Left my truck sitting this weekend in a parking lot while I was riding my bicycle in the MS150 bike tour. While I was rinsing it off today I noticed that there is now sand in the paint. What is the best way of dealing with this. The local detailing shop (they deal with very nice cars) says it needs an acid bath. Sounds bad, but said it would not hurt the paint. $275. Is there a better way of doing this? Please help.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks.
Jerrod

Thanks fellows,
I thought that might be the way to go. I have never used the stuff before, but I definately am going to try it. Better than spending $275 at the detailer. Thanks again.
