I just ordered mine from the number in this thread for my new L today and it now costs $40. $10 discount for a SVTOA member which they said I was and got the discount. Pay by credit and supply the last six digits of the vin. You no longer have to fax anything, but it's also not free anymore.
I also put a $5000 down payment through Ford Performance on the new Gen III Lightning due out later next fall/mid-summer 2007. He couldn't give me many details other then the color choices of the Gen III's will be Vermilion Red, Dark Shadow Grey, Metallic Silver, Black, and bringing back the True Blue. Estimated build numbers are 3,400 and MSRP 35,800. That's all the info he could give me. Place your pre-orders now if you want to insure your color choice.
