New Gen 2 record? With images

Wow this has to be close to a record.
We started at wrenching 7:30 AM after driving 5 hours with a short nap
Had the Motor and tranny out in 6 hours took a lunch break got back for the install of a JLP block with worked heads and cams and a Level 10 tranny with PI converter as well as a complete exhaust change. We finished at 2:30 AM the next day. Had a quick breakfast and drove 5 hours back. I just woke after an 11 hour nap and have not hurt like this since basic training.

Special thanks to : Mrgadget, Roll Barred, and V8rumbl for the marathon wrench session.

Sorry about the images everyone was a bit shaky.

Its way to loud and I am going to change the exhaust up some this week to try and keep me out of trouble. The tuning will happen late this week or next week.

Did the motor & tranny have to come out seperately?

Yes
It was so smooth it didn't touch a thing. Ford replace the 1st motor under warranty and we found all kinds of things they messed up. This went 100% smooth. I will be rechacking things when i can move again.

HI!... Don't think it's a recored. JMC and I pulled my old engine/trans in 2.5 hours and installed the new built 5.4 in 3 hours. So 5.5 hours total here. I bet there are many that can beat my time. BTW I did mine in the driveway with no air tools.

Ok that is just nuts.

I know where we lost a few hours and lunch and we did slow down by the end of the day but 5.5 hours is amazing. We didn't use air but on a hand full of things. The lift was the big help ( thanks boca ron )..

The wheels are Boyd Timeless with nitto dr's

I have not sprayed it yet but would recommend the race tested kit over any other nitrous kit form what i have seen and the support they give.

The exhaustynateck long tubes no cats and a Magnaflow.
