Yea...I ran in the qualifying round with a 12.2 on my street tune. Didn't run on the race tune. Unfortunately...I didn't make it in time for the Sunday round of emliminations (showed up as they were in the staging lanes) and the staff would not let me on. But was there to cheer on everyone else.

My best's of the day was:

60ft---1.69
1/8th--7.8
1/4----12.2
mph----111

Not too bad for no juice and stock long block I will be sure to NOT miss the start in Atlanta though.

Wow...they where in the staging lanes and wouldn't let you run???? WTF is that all about. Hell, last year we could run up at the last minute and stage, as long as the guy you where suppose to run hadn't already lit the bulbs you where good to go. I have been called and told of a couple deals they where being hard ***** on this year. I guess FFW has decided to stick closer to the rule book this year.

Do you happen to know who won and who got runner up?

I pulled in and the first two trucks were pulling around to the tree. I asked the guy if I could get in and that I was in the TT competition. He asked, "Are you racing like that"? I said I would need about 15 minutes or so to take my top off...unload my truck...and swap out my tires (had 20's on). He said, "They will be done by then". The he called someone and they said no. Oh well....was my fault anyway. I wasn't mad....still had a blast

Yeah..they can't hold up for you in a situation like that. Glad you had fun. I have been regretting not going all weekend long. I will be in Atlanta though.
Maybe I will see you there.
