So I was watching a little Nascar yesterday and it was at a road course in Mexico. It looked like alot of fun and was curious as to where the NJ\NY owners participated in this. I guess the closest tracks are Watkins Glen and Limerock. Do these places or others have open track days where you can just pay a fee and drive around them? Do you have to be certified or have an instructional class. Im not that big with the quarter mile stuff so I would like to try out the road course. I know Tim is big into it but hes out West I believe. Anyone from the NE got any info? Thanks.

did an event last year with my mustang with these guys at Pocono. Had a blast. They do limerock and Watkins glen too. @ $250 for the day

 

in the spring and the summer, on every sunday there is road racing set up at the Giants stadium parking lot.. lots of high end cars there.. if you want to know about road racing in the tri-state area contact Dan AKA thepawn or pawn i forget which way it goes, sorry Dan, but he does road racing and i know hes big on it..
