Interesting...I gather that you both are new LS-1 owners? They are nice cars. I know...because I had one. However, I was also one of the original members of the LS-1 board and I know a lot of the members there. Nice to see that things are up and running. I don't think that it isn't entirely impossible at all that a Lightning could take a z28 or an SS for that matter. It happened and it happens. I have done it myself. I had an LT-1 and an LS-1 and had a lot of experience with both cars. They were nice for the first year and then the problems/rattles/etc. start happening. I had a bad experience, hence, I changed and haven't looked back since.
If you are referring to trash talking, you may want to take a hard look at your own board. I have seen more "trash" come through there than anywhere else. It happens everywhere. We are all proud owners, as are all of you. So....spare us the lecture.
