What to do in Vegas for the weekend?
Besides becoming rich from all the winnings! 
I have a car and want to see something besides the neon. I want to see the dam. Where is the speedway? I'm there from Thurs - Sun night.

There is lots to do and see outside the strip. The speedway is worth going out and seeing. It is north of town right off I15. If you go to the dam, make sure you go on one of the tours. It is well worth the money. If you like to scenery, you can drive out to Red Rock Canyon. The rock formations are really beautiful. It's like living in a Roadrunner cartoon. I'm not sure if you're taking the family or not, but if you are, you need to go to the All American Sports Park. It is located right off the south side of the strip on east Sunset Road.

family trip.(no kids here) but I am meeting the wife there on Fiday night. So I have a day to look for ........sights.(bet you thought I would say hookers)
Any other suggestions would also be accepted.

Ok you all ready to laugh you a$$es off.As My woman would say,"Thats good for you".Here goes........My buddie and I picked up a hooker in Vegas.She was in the truck a total of 5 minutes.She was delivering some food to her friend.She fiddled around with me for a minute while holding a plate of chicken fingers.Then she decides to play a little with my friend.We drop her off,She says to come back in 10 minutes for a good time.Right now she needs to deliver her food to her friend.We decide to leave .We go to a resturant and eat breakfast at about 3:00 in the morning.(I just got off the plane at 1:00)After eating I go in my pocket to get my money to pay the waitress and all my money is gone!!!!!!!!! My friend was laughing his A$$ off!! He says "I cant believe you let her get your money without you knowing."He says Ill pay for it .He reaches in his pocket and she took his money too!!!!!!All in 5 minutes while holding a plate of chicken fingers.Bye the way,The hookers you see on T.V. are nothing like ral life .She looked like a tractor drove over her face after seeing her close up.Dont do it!Yes this has nothing to do with Lightnings,But im sure you will all get a good laugh.

Lets see, what to do in Vegas? Well, I would definately go to the damn, I suppose you are not bringing your Lightning? I do not know where the speedway is, I would like to go and see what my truck can do. If you and your wife are into it, the are some kickin' night clubs here. The Beach is my favorite. Not too fancy, but you have to have your shirt tucked in, your wife will get in free, but alas you get to pay $10. Studio 54 is another good club I hear, but I never have the $20 to get in.
If you are really looking for an adventure, there is a pay phone way out in the boonies about 15 miles off the nearest paved road, in the middle of nowhere. There used to be a mine in the 60s, but it shut down in the 60s, but they keep giving the phone booth a new phone. I hear it rings all the time from people calling all over the world.
Hookers are 'illegal' here in the town of Vegas, but so is speeding, so I guess they can be found (not my thing).
I would definatley recommend the Luxor as for the place to stay. It is the pyramid hotel. The elevators trip me out, they go sideways. And on Wednesday nights they have a 'lingerie' contest for all the ladies at their club RA. Too bad you won't be here on Wed. night. If you want a relaxing stay away from all the glitter, I strongly suggest the Hyatt-Regency Resort at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson. Absolutley relaxing, they have everything you could possibly want, just in a realxing atmosphere.
My mother won about $2k and she only did the slot machines. We had the best luck with the Wheel of fortune machines and the other Spin wheels type games. Good Luck

When you are walking down the strip,Do not be surprised when MANY MANY people give you little pamphlets.I wont tell you what kind,but I will tell you ,They do not care if you are walking with your wife or kids,They will hand it to you anyway.And dont think you are getting off that easy.Not only are you treated to one pamplhet,You will be handed them like you are Pimp daddy.Youll see!!!.
I have read alot of gambling books.From all of them I have read,You should definatly stick with red white and blue basic 3-7s machines.And dont forget to bet 0-00 on the roulette table.And always gamble at night,after 11 pm.Machines are much looser then,So I have read,I dont play machines.
The treasure Island ship fight is a Must!!

If you make it downtown check out Race Rock it's supposedly cool, I've never been myself. Also the Fremont Street Experience light show. And if you have really big ***** ride the Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere Tower. Roller coaster at New York New York, or a show on The Strip. Leave lots of money as it keeps our taxes low.

last time i was out there, the hookers were outrageous, and i was with my wife!! once (she) got past that, we had a great time. dice were good to me, won a car (Z-28) on slots. shows were the best entertainment this side of broadway, and they treat everybody like "somebody". love that town, but you give me a new car, i love you too!!!"D

Lets see, what to do in Vegas, hookers, the dam is impressive, hookers. you can rent a new viper gts for 24hrs for 400.00 out there and wring it out in the desert,hookers. yep, theres plenty to do in vegas,hookers. always lots to eat and drink, practically free. but don't drink too much, you have to keep your strength up for the,, ahhh, you know.
