Sal, superchip, airaid!
I have an interesting idea here!
This is what I propose,
I will pay for all of the dyno runs here so I can see who can make the fastest lightning chip/filter.
The suppliers will have to produce the goods.
I’ll return everything to every company that’s involved.
No I don't plan on testing every scenario sals chip to airaid ect.
I would like to see,
Sal- air/chip
superchip/airaid
my-chip/air filter
and more!
This test would be first filter/chip dyno comparo for a Lightning 99!

F1, you are talking about an ice cold (1st run in am) of each and every combo of every manufacturer of any chip/filter combo on the market for a gen 2 L? that will take a month and a fat wallet, and i'll bet you will get zero takers. does airaid pick superchip, or does superchip beg sal. or just the combos you picked.
F1, I have to agree with MRBBQMAN. Most suppliers wont do it for the fact that they don't want there product to have a chance to look bad. Also to make it even you would have to use the same truck right?? That way you could see a real difference.
It sounds like a great idea, I just think that there might be some hard times to get it done. If you can work it it would be very benificial for everyone though.
Maybe a track test as well. Now that would be very interesting too. Maybe the Rally at Ennis on the 28th of April would work.
Well just a couple thoughts.
