I'm going to try like hell to be there. My L was supposed to go in for service yesterday to fix a years worth of nitpicky problems. When I got there they didn’t have the loaner car I needed (bad scheduling). Anyway, I have removed all my good stuff for the service visit and expect to have it in early next week. Which means I should have it back in plenty of time to create the monster before Friday….. but with my luck who knows. I’ll keep you posted.

BTW, do we need to make reservations soon for the road trip?

Hope everything times out right and you get your L back in time.
As far as reservations, let me put another post out there and that will determine the trip. I will be working on that this weekend.

 

Good Joel, real good. I cancel my plans for tonight to see you on the 14th and now you cancel. Now I have to see if I can reinstate my plans that I canceled on the 14th. What's the deal here, nobody wants to race me on the street and now, nobody wants to come play at the track, heck, I'm putting an ad in the Autotrader today and I'm selling the L. 50 cents on the dollar.

I know what you mean about the crowds, it gets old real quick. 21st huh? Any idea as to what the weather will be like?

 

You guys are going to kill me for this so I’ll make it quick. After reviewing the Firebird’s website (http://www.firebirdraceway.com ) I realize that there is a “Team Firebird” race on Saturday the 15th. What this means is that most of the “team” will be there on the 14th, making for a rather crowded night. Sooo…. I’m going to back out on the 14th, and I’ll be there on the 21st. I may be wrong on this but I’m getting tired of the crowds.
