Edelbrock Muffler
That must be the same Borla that never returned about a half dozen E-mail requests for information. Hack job? I think it looks pretty good for a Jr. High industrial arts project.

Sixpipes you were right. It may not make our trucks any faster, but the sound is just what I was looking for. Also I don't see how someone can claim (on another post) that their muffler flows more than these. If you look at the Magnaflow it is completly open all the way through. Unless it had larger than 2.5 inlets and outlets.

Magnaflow is working on a custom kit just for Lightnings. It is suppossed to include an x-pipe. If you are interested in Magnaflow I'd be a little patient it should be within a couple of months.

Brimstone ,are you sure about the magnaflo? They made me a prototype catback with a single muffler a few months ago. Didn'tsound too bad but had and irritating drone at highway speed. I took it off and put the stock unit back on. I talked to them last week and was told by Jim Cates that the Lightning project is on a back burner for now. Have you heard different?
Thanks Brimstone for the info
Id really like to hear your setup when you get it. They promised me a finished system since they used my truck for a day for the first system.
Dont you have flowmasters now? Is carsounds going to do a dyno?

I posted this as a new topic and I'm not sure anyone saw it. "Here it is again" he said humbly.
OK, I'm convinced that some of you were able to do it! 1BADTK's pictures are convincing.
Part of the problem may have been that the lift that my guy used was a frame lift with arms that had to be placed near the exit pipes up to the arch in the chassis over the rear wheels.
Another part of the problem is, looking from the back of the truck,
the stock inlets go in like this: (/)
and the stock outlets go out like this: (\)
It takes some work, but obviously it can be done.
My apologies to all Edelbrock fans!
Boy, you sure get the straight scoop in a hurry on this board!
