Smile Needs to engage brain before going WOT...

This morning I was sitting next to a black 2000 GTS Viper. He then blasted away from the lights, getting sideways across the intersection and into second gear. He was immediately lit up and pulled over by the cop that was sitting behind him at the lights...

I got to be the catcher rather than the catchee on a deal like that one night. Two F- bodies staging and doing burnouts on the service road never saw me drive right up behind them and come to a complete stop about 10 feet off their bumpers. Soon as they went WOT I lit them up. They felt pretty dumb.

Downtown Denver has a lot of very close stop lights and way too many one ways and one night in a friends Impala sitting at the light next to some ding bat in an IROC we were messing around and the guy started to rev out a little *we were ever so impressed* and so we got on it a little bit felt the back start to grab and hopped it about 2 feet *with of course a clear intersection* and watched the guy go haulin *** through the red light... I always wondered if that guy felt stupid and just went home.

Another reason why I bought the Lightning over the Viper, you can actually see out the rear window! Man I would love to have seen that!

Simliar thing happened to me many years ago. I am at an intersection waiting for the light to change, and the guy next to me wants to race. Both of us where running 1968 Road Runners. But, because he was at the crest of a steep hill, he did not see the cop car right behind him, out of his line of sight. I did. Light changes and this fool takes off with the cops hot on his heels.

This is what you get for trying to drag race on a downtown street in the middle of a large city.
