Does anybody have any info on how to attach an expy overhead console bracket to the L roof? Does the factory overhead light bracket have to be cut off? Does the expy bracket have to be trimmed at all. I dont want to mess up the bracket when it seems alot of you have already done this. Any help (pics) would be great!

 

I only used the front section of the bracket. I plasma cut the front right after the mounting location. For the rear I just sent two self tapping screws through the console into the stock dome light bracket. Of course you will have to reshape the rear of the console to the headliner. I also suggest putting some bags of cotton ***** above your liner so that it pushes the headliner flush against the console.

Thanks For The Help And The Pointers. I Was Looking At It After I First Posted And Figured Out That I Was Going To Cut The Front Part Like U Were Saying. But In The Rear, Im Going To Take The Tab That The Console Snaps Into, Cut It Off And Attach It To The Factory Dome Lite Bracket. I Will Past Some Photos When Im Done. Thanks For The Help Again.
