There is alot of steel in a SSR. That is why they are such pigs. Double layers of .070 steel in the floor alone. Not to mention the body sides and outer skin.

The SSR is a really cool vehicle. GM royally screwed it up like they have with so many vehicles. Remember the Fiero? They prices it 20K too high initially and put the wrong engine in. The current one is great and the only convertible pickup out there.

Jesus Vinnie, I've been on this board longer than you and look at the post difference.

It has met my reserve and there has been almost 2500 views in 2 1/2 days. I guess the Rusty connection is bringing out the Nascar fans to take a look. Especially being Daytona week

Thank you, I am starting to feel sellers remorse already.

Bird, unfortunately my wife doesn't drive a stick.
I read on the SSR forums that if you change the rear end gear from the 3.55 to the 4.56 (not sure if those are exact), it becomes a new animal

I love that truck...thought it was intersting that you got this from rusty.. his brother kenny used to be my next door neighbor and rusty lived right up the street about 3 min from my place which was in a town outside st.louis...small world

Thanks for the compliment on the truck.
Was Kenny a nut back then, he really is a funny guy.
