Caka
Stock- SAE rwhp 320.6@4900rpms
SAE rwt 408.6@4000rpms
With Airaid-SAE rwhp 314.0@4800rpms
SAE rwt 408.1@3800rpms

These number baffle me, The Torque is the same for both runs, but the Airaid comes in a full 200 RPM sooner.

Do you have the full sweep (all data points), and did they also use an autotap or like device, as it would be neat to see the MAF readings, the spark advance, and the O2 readings?

Caka, can you email me the traces (data)?
I would like to take a good look at it, play with it, if you will.

My email is:
sbothe@mediaone.net
if you care to share the data with me.

I sure wish I knew as much about hotrodding as noelvm! Since I have an aftermarket filter that did not change my ET's (I ran them both within 15 minutes of each other). This was with Sal's chip. I did take off the rubber that connects the filter to the inner finder when I ran the stock box. But what do I know.

Yoda is correct guys, no need to reset the EEC for any more power. The EEC does not perform adaptive learning at WOT, only idle and part throttle.

Thumbs down

I don't think that anyone has all 3-4 air filtration systems available to test each one and speak in generalities like, "air box mods do nothing by themselves". when they mean, it didn't do anything with my chosen combo, in the order i chose to have them dynoed. the hotter this truck gets, the worse it runs. why not install all the goodies and give it the first run, then remove everything and watch the numbers fall.

2000silverbulletonorder I just e-maild you the numbers. MRBBQMAN, I reset my comp. and will make a dyno run with the Airaid only before I do anything else to my truck. Then compare it to my first run stock numbers. I want to be sure what I got before I add anything else. Later! Thanks!
