Hobbled Pony
On the way to work this afternoon I passed a sharp 93 stang. He had a cowl induction hood
centerlines, tach on the dash and Cobra emblems on th front quarters. He follows me for several miles and I'm hoping for some open road. I see My chance and roll th window down, motion for him to pull along side as I slow. He rolls down his passenger window and I holler "show me what you got".
He replies I ain't got much. I say lets go anyhow. He punches it and I hear his tires bark as I follow suit. he has a mixer. Right off he is fading. At about 125 he is 5-6 car lenghts back and I start to really pull away.
I pull into a service station and he stops also. He says he has a stock 302 and I say well I thought you may have had something special under that highrise hood. He laughs and says I wanted it to look the part first. I introduce Myself and tell him how much I do like the looks of his ride. All black and shiney with the lites covered with the blackouts. I could see his rear brake lites well enough when he stopped. He was a good sport and I of course felt really bad when I found out he was stock. I never looked at his motor. He looked at mine. We were bull****ting as a cop looked on. Was a nice event.

The Interceptor is made by Transco. It is an inline adjuster for the shift and converter lockup. Has two potentiometer adjustments for 1. shift force\pressure 2. Converter lockup timing\delay.

Christy, Colorado Native? Grin...
I lived up in Cheyenne for about 16 years. Those stickers always seemed funny. I have relatives up in Ft. Collins and several friends around Northglenn. I miss the big ski.
As for the maroes I can't hook any.
I know Ill get My chance sometime. What with the hot days of summer coming.
