They wear like iron ... performance is hurt by the 420 tread wear rating.

Probably a good California tire where it doesn't rain much ...

Much better than the Toyo's which are very hard compound.

I think they are between the Goodyears and the Toyo's leaning more to the F1's, good ride and I will replace with the same again when the time comes.

I'm running them on the front of mine right now. Great handler, awesome in the rain last night (heavy downpour) I really like them.

i like them. they have a nicer rubber bead around the area where it contacts the rim to protect the lip. they do not track(i.e. follow the ruts in the road) like the f1's do. much harder compound and 100% better in the rain than the F1's

That seems like a good discription of the Hankooks. One of my best buddies run them on his fast-*** L, and they suprised me how good they hook up for a tire with a 420 treadwear rating. I may give them a try soon. Cheap ,too.

I have them on mine and they have stood up to my abuse. My truck handles like a big slot car and I give them a good workout every chance I get.

Actually the friend Mondo is talking about got me on to these tires too, and all I can say is "No problem Mon". I like them a lot for a daily driver, better than the F1's in the rain, way cheaper and last a hell of a lot longer, these will be my tires from now on.

You may want to check out Nitto 404s. The size is 285/50-18. I have then, but only have 2. I have had them on the front & the rear with no trouble. They are fine rain or dry.
