UP, UP and AWAY!!!! (Pics)

Well I got the 4 -post lift last week and some VERY cool friends (Mike00L and ChiefAl40) spent there day with me putting it up.
Cannot thank them enough.I owe them BIGTIME!!!!!
Now, I didnot get the 'top of the line' lift. (Probaly should have).
Its a Danmar 7000 (basically a discontinued Bend-pak 7000, even made still by bend-pak).
It will do the job but definately not the most stout lift out there.
Perfect for my needs..Lightning and cobra, but definately not for the f-350.

Still better then not having one.
I was able to get the Lightning under the cobra w/o doing any major constuction but I will have to tweak the top joist to get the Lightning at full lift.
Gotta tell ya. Its scary under the L.
WAY too much rust and dirt, definately showing its wear under there. Those 2 trips in the snow to Indiana really took there toll.
Thats O.K. though ..Now I have the lift it will be Tim Skelton clean.LOL

BTW- The garage(Lightning Lounge) is getting there but I still have to insulate, drywall ,etc...

Vinnie what size is your garage. You must have 12" walls huh!! Mine is a 24'X32'X10' with a 16' door on the 24' wall , I needed the depth for engine pulling, came in handy a month ago. I too am getting set-up... good luck !!

Very nice Vinnie. Just curious as to why you went with a 4 post versus a 2 post? One of these days I'll get around to building myself a shop.
