Vin,
I'm the process of designing my house, and I really want a lift. If you don't mind, what did you pick the lift up for?

Thanks guys. I am trying to make up for having NO garage for 39 years.

Typhoon and promod,
The guy I went with was R.B. Wholesale (1-800 -307-2144). Very nice older gentlemen and his kids that has been in the business for many years and deals with Bend-Pak. I recommend the Bend-pak 9000. He sells lifts and all the assecories.

I just went on E-baymotors and searched "4 post lifts"

Mine was only $1900. Again.NOT..Top of the line.
I would definately recommend one in the $2500 range. Probaly has a better locking release system then mine (mine release system sucks plain and simple) also I would recommend the 120 inch width one (mine is 103). It gives more room for the mirrors.

Don't get me wrong. I knew what I was buying and I am very happy to have a lift and plan on getting my moneys worth with it.
Between oil changes on the 4 vehicles and MOST importantly I can go through ALL the nuts and bolts inbetween events. This is something I always did on my other race cars but not as much with this truck.

VINNIE

BTW ..Al ..Teri handles all the money (I know ,I know..She pretty much runs the joint)..So good luck with that bill. LOL
Its like getting water from a rock.

I went with the 4 post so It could be easily used for storage and service and my wife can just drive on and off with no hassle.

Vin, I might be missing something, but how tall of a garage do you need for your set up? That is with the L being the bottom driver and a stang on top.

Nope..Dan your not missing anything. I have 10 ft. ceilings and 12 ft. is optimum. The mustang fit all the way up with the top down , but the L doesn't.
I will be doing some tweaking up top just were the lift is to have 12 ft. My uncle did the same to his 10 yrs. ago and has zero problems.
I was not going with a 12 ft ceiling all around just for a lift. With a 24x40 ft garage it will be too big for my property and take even more to heat it.

Only 2500 for a decent one? If I can get one for 3000.00 shipped I'm all over this. Any special footers needed, or do you just drill the concrete and bolt it down? Looks great!

Yes, $2500 will get you a decent lift.

Thats the best part of a 4 post. You do not have to have it bolted down.they are free standing and even have caster option so you can move the lift(even with a car on it).

4 inches of concrete recommended though.

Not to mention that it's easier to open the doors on the cars. Man, that's looking good Vinnie, you're going to love it!! Congratulations!
