Did you know that simple green is very corrosive to aluminum. It has been removed from the usage list on military aircraft,at least the particular model that I am affiliated with. It was observed and a trend analysis was done and the higher ups deemed it off limits,especially for aluminum aircraft compotents.

Interesting...no I didn't know. Especially being that I am in the Air Force and around military aircraft all day. But..with that said... I only use it on the lower portion of the engine. So, I am not too worried about it corroding anything.
