Post Roush Lowering Kit.... Help!

I spoke with Roush this week. I talked to a guy named (Steve?) Ford.
Get this.... They don't want to sell just the front springs anymore. They want to sell only the $1500.00 F150 lowering kit.(Springs, shocks, etc.)...

Can anybody with a better relationship with Roush get just the springs? I don't think we need the performance shocks to drop 2" in the front. If I'm wrong please tell me.

My understanding is shackles, hangers, springs and an alignment will get the Lightning a 2" front and 4" rear drop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

TampaBayLightning, I will call a bud of mine, but I'm not sure if he can help. Roush has gone to the idea of Package sales. Kinda madning but I can see some of the reasons. You might want to talk with SS97Ford since he just did a lowering to his truck and found out it costs about the same after all is said and done as the Roush suspension kit. One thing also to remember is that Roush will Warrenty the work as well. Just a couple thoughts, but I will put a call in and see if it's possible to get you the springs.

Thanks, man....

Local shops just want to cut the springs(thanks but no thanks).
Steeda sells an F150 3" drop spring for $179.00 a pair but that means I only get 1" if I'm lucky.
Would really like to stick to the Roush stuff.
Thanks again for the help.

Paul:

Steeda sells an regular F150 3" drop. For us it's only 1" since we're already 2" lower.

Rich....

what do you mean you will only get a 1" drop when you order a 3" drop spring from Steeda?

If that's the case, then that is what I personally only wanted....a 1" drop. Does it have something to do with the weight of the truck?

Please let me know!

Thx

Paul G.

Hey TampaBayLightning, I heard back, but my bud said it would take some time to verify what is up with the springs and if he could get them only. I also talked with my Roush Rep hear in Texas and he was not to promising on just springs. Sorry for the long wait.
