Dallas/FortWorth 99 or 2000 Lightning Owners>>>>>
Results from the MAF and chip,
MAF was good for about 2 hp over stock air box with K&N filter.
Chip was good for about 23hp.
Base line 400 lbs @ 3400 rpm
325 rwhp @ 4900 rpm
torque conveter @ 4450 rpm
Mods 430 lbs @ 3000 rpm
350 rwhp @ 4900 rpm
torque conveter @ 3900 rpm
Tested at 84 degrees, barometric pressure 29.10, vapor pressure .60
The guys where really shocked at the baseline, they showed me a couple of other Lightnings and they where more in the 310-315 rwhp range.
I'll try to scan the posts.
BTW when I romp on it and the supercharger spulls up it sounds like a air horn going off, I was scaring the s@!t out of everyone on 635.

This is for only for D/FW Lightning owners.
The pull I had was for MY Lightning and they made an extra 10hp just for my truck, I think? So they can squeze an extra 10hp out of any normal chip, just for YOUR truck, these guys are great.
I would like to post that the tuner was one of the nices persons I've ever met.
Dallas Mustang guys will get ya every last hp if you ask for it.
Totally great guys, if you want someone that works on your car that loves it more that you 'I discoverend this by being last to check any dyno run' they are the best DFW (possible the world) Ford guys!
I do not work for them nor have ever used them!
I hope I never have to encounter a factory Ford dealership again!

Snake,
I get the impression these guys are your buddies, that’s great. Looks like F1 is VERY happy with what they have done. Once again great. They sound like a group of great guys. At some point I may need their services who knows.
There has been no mud slinging here. I was just sharing some information. ( Sprinkled with a little of my opinion ) Which is supposed to be the point of this forum.
If you read the posts, my points were:
1) That the MAF was not worth any noticeable horsepower difference. And F1’s dyno run proved it. ( 2 hp )
2) That getting 25 hp out of Intake, filter, and chip was not unlike what many others were doing. Lots of posts with similar if not better results from similar setups. https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000092.html https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000381.html
3) They were the ones dumb enough to make an unsubstantiated claim to the fastest Lightning in Texas. Here is dyno evidence of a 425 rwhp Lightning in Houston. https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000394.html
I should have never tried to promote or defend the Wyldman’s runs. He does it well enough himself. In fact if needed I’ll pay Wyldman’s gas bill from Houston and back to prove the point.
This will be my last post on this topic...
