Rain/Snow?

the day i bought my 01 L it was rainy out and i was on the highway on the way home with my buddy and I was cruising at like 70 mph and I flat footed it and it broke loose and i almost lost it..... so it def may not be the best daily driver

It may not be the best daily driver but it's the most fun to drive

I think the Lightning can be pretty civil if driven properly. I just got mine in August and haven't driven it in rain or snow. But if I take it easy, this truck drives like any other 4X2 truck.

I ended up getting a beater for the winter. $850 for a '92 Taurus. Runs quite good. That's what I'll be driving in the snow (tomarrow ) and probably when it rains, if I can help it. I am mostly concerned about other divers in the snow. I also want to keep the L in good shape. The road salt in the winter does a number to our vehicles.

Good luck on that Lightning. You'll be fine, all year around.
