Battery, what to replace with?

I haven't driven the L in 8 weeks (was out of work due to a stroke but everything is back to normal, THANK GOD!!!). I wnet to fire her up and there was nothing!, zip!, nada! The battery is the factory original (2000 L) and I feel that it would be prudent to replace the 'tron box. Any suggestions about what type of battery to replace the factory original with (I am not running a bizillion watt stereo, not extra electrical taxing add-ons.)?
Thanks for any/all input.

Haven't had to replace mine yet, probably go with the red top maybe yellow when I do. Hope you feel better and make a full recovery from the stroke.

Optima, smaller and lighter thought there are some others out there. A redtop is cheaper and sounds like you don't really need a Yellow.

what is the difference between the 2. I need a new battery in my bronco beater so I am just going to put my stock L battery in it and buy and Optima for the L.
I have an aftermarket stereo, amps, speakers, and subs.

I don't know which one, but one has more cranking amps than the other. The one with lower cranking amps has a longer warrenty.
