Question Need break-in recommendations

Well guys, my dealer says my black '00 L is on the way, so I'm wondering if there are any particular driving recommendations that anyone knows of, i.e., baby it for a couple of thousand miles, or is it OK to "go for a kill" right away? Appreciate feedback. Thanks much!

Cool

Floor it, go home, order chip and filter, when they come in, floor it some more.

Or...you could go by SVT's recommendations, posted on thier website, and drive it easy for the first 1500 miles, gradually stretching the engine out, using more and more of the available RPM range.

Either way is probably fine.

Drive it like someone is trying to take it away from you.... It will just get faster and faster, beside if you baby it, then everyone will think they can borrow it since its not so special!!!!!!!!!!

Listen to the pros, drive it like you stole it. Just change the oil on time, every time, and use the recommended 5w30. These engine are tight off line, they need some time to loosen up before they really start running the way they are supposed to.

Get your PSP full meal deal ordered now, and you should have everythin you need to start winning races as soon as your new baby arrives.
