Thumbs up Interceptor Part 2

I've had an interecptor installed for about a week now, and here are my personal observations.

The first couple of days I wasn't overly thrilled. It was just really different on the shift feel and points.

Now that I have had in several days, I must say I love this tweak. It really does change how you drive this beast. I had to learn how the truck was going to shift.. when to give a little gas and when to let out a little. We all do it now, but after the interceptor install you have to relearn how the truck 'feels'. This is a must have if you ask me, just give it a week or 2, learn to 'feel' the new shifts before passing judgement.

I have had mine in a couple days. I did get a code set just after the install. Something about the converter lock up. My Friendly Service Manager put the S.T.A.R. computer on it . It also had a O2 sensor code. He said it was interupted mid cycle ,probally when I installed Sal's chip. He wiped the memory clean and said the module and chip would probably learn faster.

you and I have got to get together sometime...Maybe a night out at Edgewater soon?
Do they still have test and tune nights?

Thumbs up

Factory Tech.. would love to.. didn't notice you were from cincy or I would have said hi before. Ya.. edgewater has test and tune nights/day still. The 13.99 I ran was at edgewater opening day.. when the truck was still bone stock. As soon as I get my chip/filter from sal and my slicks in I'm headed out there again. I want 12.9s before the end of the year. (As my g/f says it's good to want.. errrrr)

So what part of cincy do you hail from? I live up in sharonville..
