Lightning forum dying?

I can remember back in the day, when the L forum would have 2 and 3 pages of new threads every day. Now it's more like 2 days per page. How much longer will it last?

Rob hasn't been posting as much

Seriously though...I think there is a new generation of Lightning owners that will be showing up soon.
Last night on my way home from work I saw three Lightnings at three different used car lots.
A red one at the Ford dealer, silver at Dodge, and black at the Nisson.
People are movin on I guess...

Most people on this board are in the North East and they're still waiting for Lightning weather. Not a lot to post about when your truck is in the garage under a cover.

Im in NY and I just pulled the truck out for a second so I can back it into the garage. Now, I can start performing these items will still garaged.

Change Plugs
Pull off eaton and clean intercooler
Possibly port the eaton
Purge all fluids

Im not clueless but Im going to have a bazillion questions so activity on my end will probably be picking up.

No shortage of posts on NLOC, so I don't know why it's so quiet here.

As far as living in the northeast goes, my L is my daily driver, so it gets driven every day unless there's snow on the road. Of course, with all the rain we've been having, I've completely given up trying to keep it clean!

I don't have much to post about my truck.

It's sitting quietly on Jackstands in the garage. Once in a while I'll fire it up. Besides that, I don't have time to mod it right now.

Looking at buying a new car also, something awd and european.

I don't think it's dying. I think most of the older guys stop posting like they used to after they see ten posts a day about which pulley, throttle, or cat back is better.

So how is all that SNOW that Detroit is making downtown? Is it all melted yet???

My G/F works at the federal building downtown and has to put up with all the street closures for the Super Bowl and that Winter Fest thing downtown.

Haven't a bunch of people traded in the L for an SRT-whatever?

My truck is in the garage. I had it out once a couple weekends ago. I feel too broke now to mod but as soon as I get to drive it more often I'll find a way to pay for a couple mods. I'll search first but may need some advice.

Ok, just for the sake of this thread I'll surpass the search function. Where should I buy a set of 3" drop shackles? JDM?

I don't post a lot but traffic has definately slowed down here and it seems on most of the other sites. I would think everybody would be talking winter mods. I am in the process of polishing an eaton that will then go to get ported which will make me buy a new programmer(loose the old superchip) and a wide band.

It’s slower in the winter because us idiots who live in the northeast have a hard time typing when are fingers are frozen…

I am seriously considering purchasing the Hotchkis Total Vehicle System and then attempt to install it myself…

I am still “thinking” about it…
