Question coolant leak

I got a leak at the rear of the engine and can't see where its coming from. Its a '99 intercooler has been upgraded. does anyone know what it might be? Took it to son-in -laws garage last night. Told him about this site & he suggested I post this to see what you guys think. Thanks,Nick.

check the coolant lines that go to the intercooler. Right behind the blower is where they connect. If you shine a flashlight back there you'll be able to see if there's a leak, that's how I found mine.....

Is you Innercooler reservior low and leaking, or engine coolant? They do not mix.

The only thing I can think of is that there is a freeze plug on the rear of the head that might not be fully seated and allowing some coolant to seep out.

Now if it were I/C fluid that would be a different story.

Are you noticing a lack in performance? Is the engine running HOT? These would seem to indicate a leaky headgasket, allowing coolant to enter the combustion chamber area. But that would be easily noticable.

If it's the passenger side I would suspect the head has lifted. It it's coolant
for sure, otherwide it might just be A/C condensate. The heater hose
connections are in the vicinity also.

Have you put it on a rack?

I seen 2 similar problems. Its one of your heater hoses. The way they wrap around and burst would cause you to think it was something else.
