Its real similiar to the Vortech kit. A friend of mine had the vortech on her mustang with the 42# injectors. She pushed 508HP with a votech s trim at 16psi. If you are pushing more boost than stock, they'll definately be a good thing.

Has anyone tried the kit JDM offers. Maybe Jim III can chime in and give us some specifics on it.

You mean the 97~98 F150 rails? The ones that just give you the option of a bolt on regulator.

No, that's not what JDM is selling. They sell a COMPLETE fuel system upgrade for our trucks. For a price of $1095 I think it's over priced.

Man, that a gang-o-loot when the stock one works just fine. I imagine that system is for people that are way above 700HP...

JDM's system only gets you up to the rails where it connects at.

And actually that fixes a lot of the problems in the factory fuel system, but it can be done a lot cheaper as a lot of things if you don't mind doing some work yourself

Use your own pump/sender assy and add twin 255's, buy a dual in dual out filter. But some -6an lines to hook up to the pumps and to the top of the sender assy. Use a set of 6-an bulk head fittings out the top of the tank. Then another set of -6an lines to the filter mounted on the frame. Plug one out side of the filter and either buy an adapter to hook up the factory line from there on, or run a new line to the rails and get an adapter at that point.

That can be done for less than $500

The big cost of the JDM kit comes in the pump/sender assy.

That's funny. I just checken and can get 40 feet of line for less than $200 from Summit. There's no more than $200 worth of fittings in that picture.
