Post Question about Headliner 2000L

Has anyone noticed a gap in the headliner in the middle next to the rear window. I can stick my hand between the headliner and roof.
Service advisor said this is normal.

DC,
Nope, not on mine. Granted there is nothing that seems to be holding the headliner up there but maybe glue? I can get a finger in there if I pull on it...

There is a gap across the entire back of my headliner, but not as bad as you described. Basically the headliner fabric ends, and there is not a plastic or rubber molding piece to hold it against anything. That seems kind of strange to me. Are the 99's the same way?

Unhappy

Went to dealer service talked to service manger he was going to order a new one, but went and looked at a new xlt truck had the same gap. It should have some trim around it so it wouldn't look cheap.

Exclamation

I wonder if we could get our hands on a finishing molding (or some such). Heck, even screw the thing up there and put some plastic finishing covers over the screws. Maybe keep the thing from rattling in the future. Just a thought.

I just looked at mine, and the liner looks like it bows down (i.e. warped) at the back just before the edge of the liner. When I push it up, it feels like there's a wire bundle in the way. Is this how everybody elses is? Looks like another thing to add to the dealer's list.

BTW, there's no molding, either; looks like a preschooler trimmed the fabric.
