No more FFW E-town????

I was just checking the FFW site, and it appears the FFW E-town event has gone away. Whats up with that? I was hoping to take home the BIG trophy at one event this year, and I sure don't plan on driving cross country to do it.

Yea Whip they knocked it out this year, I think because of the noise ordinance that Etown has to follow.

I don't really care for FFW... too many BS rules. Last year sucked with the rain, and I'm glad I didn't pay the $100 or whatever to run TT.. it seemed like those guys didn't even get to run, the event gets rained out, your money is gone, and you have to drive to another state to finish it.
I think one of the FFW officials even complained because I wasn't parked with the street class, and I was parked with the TT class... who gives a F where you park??!

Ricki,
Don't confuse Fun Ford Weekend with Fords @ Englishtown.
Fords @ Englishtown is still on.

WTF does "throw a spanner" mean. Don't they speak English in England.

In the good old USA, we throw Monkey Wrench's in things. Please update your dialog. HEHE

Just messing with ya Silver

Hahaha...I worked with a Brit rebuilding a hamworthy air compressor. A spanner is a wrench. What do you guys call a adjustable again? I forget?

That's what I like about you guys.
We Speak English you lot speak American - English

To throw a spanner - or to throw a spanner in the works.

A spanner is a fixed size wrench - no it's not it's a spanner - oh WTF

What it means if a machine is running and you throw a spanner (sorry - wrench) in it while it's running it will cause damage or screw things up.
Like open gears if you lobbed (threw) a wrecking bar into them - lots of broken teeth and damage. Hence the saying - spanner in the works.

Stilson - Pipe Wrench (similiar to your Rigid tools)
Adjustable Spanner - exactly what is says on the box.

We have metric adjustable spanners and imperial adjustable spanners LOL
Combination spanner - open ended wrench with ring wrench on other end.

And few more to educate some of yous.....
**** Head - someone with a **** on their head.
Four Eyes - someone who has glasses.
Slaphead - bald person
Numpty - Dumb *******er
Spotty Oik - 15-19 year old with a face like a pizza.

BTW I have worked on Hamworthy Compressors - big unit with 4" pipework.
It used to **** out oil if it got to hot and was real big on noise too.
Had big electric motor drive - remember there where four of them in the compressor house (Plant Room) friggin noise was unreal

Talking

And no more Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords as the title sponser

It is Now AMP Performance as title sponser, so you will need a new windshield banner

WOW!!! MM&FF isn't the title sponsor anymore??? Are they still going to do the magazine coverage? I'm REALLY thinking FFW is going right down the sewage pipe! Now....if only NMRA came to Epping.
