Correct P/N for O2 sesors for a 2000 Lightning?

OK, I burnt up my original green wire O2 sensors and replaced them with the supposed update grey ones. I kept throwing codes so I tried to get the original green ones. The dealer I went to this time called me an idiot and said the ones I had been using are for a 4.2 liter V6. (even though they used my VIN to look them up!) Sooo, he says they don't carry my original ones, and gives me another supposed updated pn. I waited all morning to use the lift this am, install these new white ones, and guess what??? The plug wasn't even the same!!!! I've had enough. Can anyone tell me where to get the original green ones, or the PROPER replacements????

Here's all the number off the end of the box...DY-834
XC2Z-9F472-AA
SENSOR
contents made in japan
AF30E W/O 797180 060204

These are specific for a '2000 and they are the front sensors.
I believe the blue ones go in the rear.

Haha

I already played this game once myself. All I can say is i'm glad i have the extender harnesses for my long tubes because i could have been there for hours trying to get behind the block trying to plug in to connectors that don't even fit!!!!!

What you may find is i think on the 99 and 2000 there was some only one little outside tab and on the newer trucks they use two. The two tab won't fit in the stock harness connector so you have to take a pair of side cutters and just clip the one that that stock harness plug doesn't have a slot for off.

That is probably hard to understand but it is oh so clear in my head

Ya, that was the problem. The stock harness wouldn't accept the t!ts on the new sensors. I didn't know if I could clip them, or if they were telling me "hey stupid, you got the wrong sensors!" Well, time to start checking sensor part numbers....lord knows I got a bunch to choose from now!

I also had bought some O2's from FORD my truck is a 99 with the CPU reflashed to a CUX2, I bought 2000 sensors and the harness was different. I bought them trying to track down fuel trims. Needless to say it wasnt in the 02's so If you still need some I have 2 and you can use your harness with, I know they are the right one. Just take your green harness and reinstall the new sensor into those. They have 10K miles on them.
